The August Full Moon – the Blue Moon.

The Blue Full MoonWe commence looking at this Full Moon by noticing an oddity, the rising sign is the same for both the Birth chart and the 9th, the Navamsa. The rising sign is Pisces. In Vedic Astrology, we say “vargottama lagna”; this means there is a strong effect of Meena (Pisces), traditionally a signifier of the last things, emotion, water, and perhaps, looking both ways at matters, maybe unsettled at this time. This would apply to all, young and old.

Notes on the March 2021 Equinox and the 5th Dimension

Image of equinoxThere are two equinoxes every year – in September and March – when the sun shines directly on the equator and the length of day and night is nearly equal. Seasons are opposite on either side of the Equator, so the equinox in March in the Southern Hemisphere is known as the autumnal equinox. In the Northern Hemisphere it is Spring time and life commences regeneration after the winter hibernation.
