The Sun has a swabhava, an inner wealth, an upright stance as the karakamsa: it is the second significator of the soul. As karakamsa, it represents the action, the making, doing, acting, who or what does or produces or creates an activity that represents the soul path this lifetime. In various signs, the Sun indicates the soul contract, that is, the activities chosen by the soul to be taken up; those interactions with family, friends, peers and intimate partners.
