Pathways to prison are paved with economic deficits such as food insecurity, inadequate education, poor housing and insufficient social services. Women are being jailed simply because they are poor, can’t pay the bills and struggle to get their children a home, security, love of family and education. Women in Service Everywhere (WISE) explores issues fuelling an increase in the mass incarceration of women and girls globally, and invites you to join in their 31 days Prayer for Incarcerated Women.

The Kumbh Mela is a major pilgrimage and festival in Hinduism. It is celebrated in a cycle of approximately 12 years at four river-bank pilgrimage sites: the Allahabad (Ganges-Yamuna Sarasvati rivers confluence), Haridwar (Ganges), Nashik (Godavari), and Ujjain. The festival is marked by a ritual dip in the waters, but it is also a celebration of community commerce with numerous fairs, education, religious discourses by saints, mass feedings of monks or the poor, and entertainment spectacle. The seekers believe that bathing in these rivers is a means to atonement, penance for past mistakes, and that it cleanses them of their sins. Approximately 50 and 30 million people attended the Allahabad Ardh Kumbh Mela in 2019 and Maha Kumbh Mela in 2013 respectively to bathe in the holy river Ganges, making them the largest peaceful gathering events in the world. In 2021 the Kumbh Mela will be held in Hardiwar.

They growl and swear at him and eventually he grows weary of their complaints and he destroys then in a most unexpected fashion.

If you wish to embark on a new life, you need not wait for the arrival of a new year. To wait for a whole year means waiting for twelve months and so many days, hours, minutes and seconds. Treat every second as new. Sanctify every moment of your life. This has to be done by realising the unity of the Divine and the individual Consciousness. When this union is achieved, Spiritual Bliss is experienced. This is the primary task before everyone.
Many peoples from all walks of consciousness raising and light work anticipated that the Solstice of 21 December 2020 and the following Great Conjunction were world-altering events. The dawn of a shift, a raising of consciousness to a higher dimension. Add to that mix the story of a Great Ritual to be completed at Uluru (Ayers Rock – in the Heart of Australia) by the indigenous peoples turned much attention to these times and these events. What follows is a personal account of attendance at Uluru from 19 December 2020 along with some reflections on The Shift.
Many persons – Light-workers, Spiritual guides, Astronomers and Astrologers have given out prognostications about the forthcoming Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn on the day of solstice, 2020. We have provided some observations about the so-called advance warnings, and some observations based on vedic astrology. We now include the general topic of Ascension into matters surrounding this event.
Bodhi Day is a holiday which falls on December 8th and celebrates the day in which Siddhartha Gautama sat underneath the Bodhi tree and attained enlightenment. This one defining moment would become the central foundation upon which Buddhism has been built upon for the last 2,500 years. It is a day on which followers can renew their dedication to Buddhism; reaffirm themselves to enlightenment, compassion, and kindness to other living creatures; and also understand the relevance of this religion as it applies to the modern world.
Ascension is a state of being – for we are a physical body – with a profound interior life that directly experiences the higher dimensions. There is much promise in Ascension, with beings living in peace and harmony, respecting our planet, and interacting with love and compassion for all forms of life. Some will inner contact with higher dimensional beings; others will work on Earth to bring Heaven to Earth and restore the Garden of Eden; for this planet was first known as Edin, meaning a beautiful place.
We admit that people take up values (their guides to action) in different ways. Some live in compliance with the rules (and disregard them when authority is out of sight); others emulate role models – therein they practice the values of another. There are those who see the inherent good in values – guides to action – and internalise them, thus setting the example of good character and integrity.
Here in this message, we supply Ten Principles of Ascension for your reflection, examination, interior sensing of the movement of spirits and your take up. We supply these principles not as rules, guides, nor as commandments; but rather for your intellect, higher consciousness and your soul’s contract.
The Mother Goddess is well known in Hinduism. Almost every God in Hinduism either has a consort or a feminine counterpart. Shiva is Ardhanareeswara – both male and female; Ganapathi has Lakshmi for his consort, just as Krishna has Radha, and Rama has Sita. Divine forms take birth as human in order to overcome evil and restore righteousness to the Earth. Each year, there is a festival of the Mother Goddess – Navarathri (with a few spellings) which celebrates the victory of good over evil with the blessing of the Mother Goddess, who has many names and forms.
Many are making claims about the time of the Solstice on December 21; it is the time of the great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn, the two largest outer planets in our solar system. After December 2020, the world will enter into 20-year Aquarian era, with the Saturn Jupiter Great Conjunction at first degree of Aquarius.
