Full Moon and Total Lunar Eclipse 20-21 January

The first lunar eclipse of the year occurs at the Moon’s ascending node in Cancer. This eclipse, visible in North and South America, the western most parts of Europe and Africa will occur on the evening of 20-21 January 2019. It will be a full lunar eclipse, which some are calling a Blood Wolf Moon. The southern half of the Moon will appear much darker than the northern half.

A full moon occurs mid-afternoon of 28 June 2018. This full moon occurs in Mula nakshatra, which is very close to the centre of the galaxy. It is known that the Grand Central Sun of our galaxy is a dark star (Sagittarius A). What is not so well known is that dark stars are expressions of the paramjyothi, the highest light. 2018 Winter Solstice

A solstice is an event occurring when the Sun appears to reach its most northerly or southerly excursion relative to the celestial equator on the celestial sphere. Two solstices occur annually, around June 21 and December 21. The seasons of the year are determined by reference to both the solstices and the equinoxes. In the Southern Hemisphere, the winter solstice for 2018 will occcur at 8:07pm on the evening of June 21st.

Yama – Dharmaraja

There is the Hindu deity Yama, mostly known – and feared – as the God of Death: Yama, the god who judges the souls at the end of life. His other name is Dharmaraja, and he is called Lord of Justice, said to be rightly judging souls for their accumulated deeds on Earth. Said to be blue in colour, he rides a he-buffalo, and holds a rope and a stick (danda).
