Partial Solar Eclipse – January 2019

A partial Solar eclipse will visible in the Northeast of China, Mongolia, Japan and eastern Russia and the western most part of Alaska on 5 – 6 January, 2019. Eclipse maximum is at 11:11 am, and so the spiritual effect of the 11:11 is also considered.

The eclipses for 2019 are as follows: Partial Solar Eclipse – January 5th-6th

We have a Partial Solar Eclipse Jan. 5-6th which will be visible in the Northeast of China, Mongolia, Japan and eastern Russia and the western most part of Alaska. Eclipses impact the countries that they are visible in mostly.

We select Khabarovsk in Russia, located 30 kilometres (19 miles) from the Chinese border, at the confluence of the Amur and Ussuri Rivers. It is the second largest city in the Russian Far East, after Vladivostok. We take the eclipse maximum time of 11:11 am on Sunday January 6th to examine this eclipse. It is a significant date for the Orthodox in Russia as it is their “Christmas” event, the Feast of the Epiphany, which means divine manifestation or recognition (or showing of the Lord).

How the Partial Solar Eclipse will appear at Khabarovsk.

Effects of Eclipse
Where the eclipse is not visible, it is said not to have any effect. However, in China, Mongolia, Japan, Far Eastern Russia, there will be effects of the eclipse. For Khabarovsk, the eclipse happens in the 11th house, the place of social relations, interactions with other and peer influences. As this time of maximum eclipse is at 11:11 am, we look to the meaning of 11:11 – a psychic phenomenon known since 1980’s and symbolises the path of awakening. So we understand there is a spiritual dimension to the eclipse, and this spiritual effect is relevant to all, where-ever you reside. The mundane effects will only apply in the location where the eclipse is visible.

An important recognition is needed here. All the things that exist in your life are the result of your thoughts and feelings. Whether you think about the past, present, or future, you are using your energy to create a vibration within you that attracts things with the same vibration to you. In other words, when you spend time remembering the past, observing the present, or imagining the future, your specific thought activates a vibration that draws ideas, people, and experiences with matching vibrations to you. Simply put, you attract whatever you’re mainly thinking about.

The path of awakening for these nations is to monitor your thoughts. (This applies to all of humanity, not just China, Mongolia, Japan, Far Eastern Russia and western Alaska.)

For those older than 50 – we examine the Navamsha Chart (D9), which is more relevant to those who have largely taken care of their lives and lived out their purpose in their youthful years. We note that the eclipse takes place in the 10th house – the house of career, wherein the Sun is debilitated, indicating that a change of approach, a change of attitude is indicated for human flourishing. Human flourishing in the time of this eclipse and this time of Ascension means giving up the desires of the ego, seeking deeply within for the purpose of life and the oneness of all that exists. The loving Creator is within, the loving Creator is without; one needs to forego the demands and external seeking of the ego and seek the place of peace within. This is verified with Ketu – the planet which signifies moksha, being in the 1st house – the starting gate of spiritual attainment – at this time of partial solar eclipse.

There may be some feeling of being squeezed, being held up, of being thwarted in attaining your goals; frustration in any other word. And this frustration will be most strongly felt – the effect of eclipses is for three months – for the next three months. It is better to find that silent place within yourself and touch that place every time a frustration is encountered. Moreover, one could chant their empowering mantra of peace! Let peace flow within you, and from you, at all times.

11:11 is a time of re-membering; of recognising that all are part of the one reality, all have the same energy from the Source and now is the time for careful monitoring of thoughts as energy goes out into motion and creates one’s world. You could also say energy is e-motion, energy in motion, manifest as your feelings. Take care, remember your oneness with the Loving Creator and give out peace during the time of eclipse.
