Om Suvarcase Namaha, Salutations to the One having exceedingly great vigour and brilliance; of beautiful form. Suvarcas indicates vigour that produces valour, strength and energy beyond compare. One shines with splendour, one speaks with eloquence and charm.
Om Susilaya Namaha, Salutations to the One who is sweet natured, virtuous, of good character. Sushila indicates virtue, and the foundation of virtue in the human person is excellence of character. Character comprises three elements, what is thought, said and done. Excellence of character, virtue, is purity of thoughts, words and actions.
Om bhanave namaha, Salutations to the Sun who is shining with visible lustre. To shine is to enter the consciousness, to illuminate from within. Illumination must have the quality of priyam, sweetness.
Om Visvarupaya Namaha, Salutations to the all-inclusive all-pervading cosmic form of the Lord, self-manifested as the universe. The Sun is that which is seen, that which is known as the shape and form of the manifest Universe.

Om Anantaya Namaha, Salutations to the One who is immortal and has no end. The outer Sun is the significator of the inner sun within the human.
