Full Moon November 2019 ~ Transit of Jupiter

milky wayNovember’s full moon in Aries is opposed by Mars, Mercury retrograde and a debilitated Sun. After 12 months in Scorpio, Jupiter has recently moved into its own sign of Sagittarius, and will look to the significations of this transit.

We began saying November’s full moon in Aries is opposed by Mars, Mercury retrograde and a debilitated Sun. Mars is weak, having just moved into Libra, and Mercury will be retrograde from October 31st to November 20th. It will begin its retrograde motion in Scorpio and then enter Libra on November 7th. When Mercury, or any other planet for that matter, is retrograde, its energy becomes intensified. Here, Mercury is within 2° of the Sun, 80% combust, so not delivering much energy. We keep in mind that Mercury takes the nature of the planet it is in conjunction with, so Mercury here behaves like a debilitated Sun, not really delivering much of ego, personality strength, nor much presence in the world. This is something of a conundrum, as Mercury is retrograde and thus stronger. Perhaps this is a signifier of humility: “I am strong, yet weak at the same time”; perhaps this is a time to be humble and quiet in the face of those scattering. their kudos about. Humility has more going for it than kudos…

And perhaps this is the time to be alert to the Rahu-Ketu axis, for Rahu is in the ascendant in Gemini. When Rahu is in the 1st house, it produces pressure to engage in personal importance, ambition, and an interior sense of unworthiness in spite of one’s own goodness in the world, for the goodness is produced with an ulterior motive: advance upwardly and never look back. That’s Rahu in the 1st house.

Moon, the presiding deity of the mind, Lord of the second house is in the 11th house Aries, the home of Mars. Mars and the Moon are friends, so the transit is friendly, if opposed from the 5th house by malefic planets. The 11th house is the home of our networks, our peer relationships, and Moon here seeks comfort in interlinked social-participation networked economies and ecologies. The Moon is sensitive to the needs of friends and social community. In a month where we have seen the strongest eruption at Sakurajima, Japan, since 2019, 96 bushfires raging in New South Wales, Australia (and similar over the border in Queensland), earthquakes in Iran, freak hailstorms damaging crops in South Australia, record cold in the US, tornadoes in Greece, a month’s of rain triggering widespread floods across northern and central England and rare earthquakes in Switzerland, the Moon would have us buried in emotional sensitivity, absorption of feelings from the local environment, and emotional reaction or response to the unmitigated disasters happening and in the making with the Indian Ocean Dipole. It is an extremely challenging time, and an unsettling time if we focus too much on disaster, disaster, disaster. Better we do community service where we are and help as we can, leaning into our strengths, and not our weaknesses or fears. We can have strong minds in the face of disaster; all we have to do is master the mind and be a mastermind.

Transit of Jupiter

Jupiter-Brihaspati
Planet Jupiter is one of the gods of Hinduism, and goes by name of Brihaspati.

On November 4th, 2019, Jupiter will enter Sagittarius. It will stay there until March 29, 2020, when it will enter Capricorn. It will begin its retrograde phase in Capricorn on May 14th, and then retrograde back into Sagittarius on June 29th. It will turn direct in Sagittarius on September 12th and finally leave Sagittarius on November 20th, 2020. To simplify that explanation, Jupiter will be in Sagittarius from November 4, 2019 to November 20, 2020, except for a 3 month gap, from March 29th – June 29th, when it will be in Capricorn temporarily.

Jupiter will be in conjunction with Saturn in Sagittarius, and Saturn will not leave until January 24, 2020. As planet Saturn lays down the chains of task, duty, responsibility, and slow energetic movement, Jupiter will be somewhat restricted in expressing and multiplying its natural exuberance and expansive energy until after Saturn leaves.

A slow moving planet, we note that Jupiter is in Mula nakshatra – owned by Ketu, and Jupiter is also conjunct Ketu. This means that a large measure of Jupiter’s energy will be directed inwards during the transit of Mula nakshatra, as Ketu looks inwards, and in this location, Ketu is exploring matters like the source of human life, the energy of expansion that creates the Universe and false illusion that the Universe actually is – it is all glamour of the Atma. While Ketu encounters this false dichotomy, the magnetic pull of Jupiter has Ketu exploring the boundaries of Self verses the senses, the desires, the the body, the purusharthas, the goals of life. It is a challenging time and it is easy for people to feel ungrounded, lost, overwhelmed vis-a-vis the depths within.

At this time, Jupiter, theologian, preacher, professor, priestly guide, and guru may have us looking quite deeply into the meaning of life and whether our lives have any purpose at all. It is easy to be swept up with those who lapse their religious attendance, and to sleepwalk through our lives aimlessly, without any real goal in mind. This is a steady lurching towards birth-death-and-birth-again, with no real goal in sight, no path up the mountain. Take care to be open to exploring the end of life – there is plenty of material around on this – and take care to be open to other paths toward the goal of life, for there are many paths up to the Lord’s Mountaintop, where all Universes become one. Be leery of judging people on other paths or those who have no paths, for there will always be greater and lesser souls than yourself. Be gentle with other people, be gentle with yourself, and ensure that your own life has a purpose, one that enhances all of life.

Full Moon

Full Moon Meditation

The Hierarchy have advised us that the times of the Full Moon are times when energy is magnified, and multiplied. Groups sitting together in meditation on peace, harmony, goodwill towards all have a manifold affect on the energies surrounding our planet when they do this on the Full Moon day. If it is not possible to do so on the actual day, then, we have been told, the day before or the day after will also serve as days of excellence in sending out positive harmony, peace and helpful energies to all places on our Earth.

Meditating on light can raise the level of light within the individual. Meditating on light for our home, Planet Earth, can raise the level of light in places where this is needed. For LIGHT can be, as you know when you turn on a light in a room it has different voltages in different countries – in some countries it is brighter – sometimes it is darker. In a way, the Light in each individual on this Earth is the same. Sometimes it is brighter and sometimes it is darker. Such meditation is always of help to others.

Meditation for this month

We just see ourselves – we are all joined together – in one circle of light; and raising our consciousness, letting our eyes roll back in our heads a little, so that you imagine you are looking outside the atmosphere of Earth, into the Universe. Don’t force your eyes too much, just enough so that you feel you are looking outwards and up.

And we are joining the world of Light; the Universal Light; the Source of All Creation. And we ask the Angels to be with us, to assist us. They are always with us, but now we are connecting to them in a conscious way.

We feel the light coming down now – from the apex of a pyramid – going through the top of our head, filling our head with light, and our neck, and shoulders, and arms, and hands … and our chest, the back, our waist … and our stomach, and our buttocks, and our thighs. And the light coming further down to the knees, the shins and the calves, and to the ankles and the feet; the soles of the feet and the toes. And feel it swirling around, going out and then returning back to the world of light, so that we feel that we are sitting in a cosmic egg of light.

And keep seeing that movement – like a river – coming down from the world of light, down past our body, out through the feet, and back up to the world of light – forming an egg shape of light around us. We feel ease and peace … very light … very happy.

So we realise that it is this place – that we can connect to our soul consciousness – that is held by our Angelic self, the Angel that’s always with us, with everyone; through our soul. We are all part of God; we are all God-beings; we are all part of Creation.

So feel happy … and released from pain; and feel joy and upliftment; because we know this is our true self, this is who we really are. This is the consciousness that is within us … that is constantly assisting us – in some very small way – or rather strong way; sometimes with a sound, or a voice, or an image. And if it sounds like a voice, it may be a thought we think but it is actually coming from our soul consciousness.

Our soul consciousness is always for good, so it is the God consciousness that’s within us that is constantly trying to guide us in our lives, in a physical body. For without the soul there would be no life in the physical body (or not for very long). It does operate independently – but it is together that we walk … on this Earth … with Love of God with us always.

And sometimes we feel the consciousness advising us, not really realising if it comes from the soul consciousness. But we know it is something that doesn’t seem like a good idea. And so we re-think what way or what steps we should be taking in life. But then, if we ignore it, we look back and think, “I wished I had taken notice; I knew, I just knew, I had that feeling in me, that wasn’t a good decision.”

And sometimes a voice can be quite strong. And we know its not – if we really tune into it – it is not us – its not our own soul voice. It is coming from somebody else that’s in the ether and trying to cause mischief. And for this reason, we need to be aware of where the messages that we hear, or the thoughts that we hear, are coming from.

It is very simple really. The thoughts that come from the soul consciousness, are of God; they are of love; they never want to hurt anybody. They only want to assist, and uplift; to give and share the light of love from the Universe. Anything else … … does not belong. And so we can reject that. And it is very easy to sort out, if you feel happy, and contented and relaxed.

It is important that you spend time to relax … and sit … and meditate. And connect to the soul consciousness who we are now, and making it a habit. Maybe once a day … for a little time … until you feel uplifted and rested. It comes through the the top of your head and into your heart. And it is your heart that holds the feeling. It is the feeling that is most important … in all of your life … in all of your emotions … in all of your thoughts … and in all your actions … if you feel good about it … it is coming directly from the Source of All. It is your home. It is who you really are.

So be blessed and know you are always blessed. And feel happy and filled with joy … even though the road may be difficult at times. You know when you look back … if you are honest with yourself, you really have learned a lot from what was a very difficult time.

So be at peace,

be at peace,

be at peace.
