In Puttaparthi, few if any speak of Sai Baba and 2012. On the internet, it is a different story. There are those who publish an alleged interview, claiming Sai Baba told, this, that and the other about the vibratory state of the planet.
there is no talk of 2012 in this Puttaparthi township nor in this abode of highest peace, Prashanthi Nilayam.
All the talk is of the Anniversary of the Maha Samadhi of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, due to come this April 24.
Yet some have come forward and asked about this “interview” given to a reporter in 2010. We were talking with a former newspaper editor last weekend. He had questions: Who is the reporter? Which newspaper does he work for? Why has the reporter not come forward? Why has this interview not been sanctioned by the Central Trust or the Sai Media officers?
Our newspaper editor is suspicious of the provenance of this so-called interview with Sai Baba.
Many are suspicious. As at today, this alleged interview with Sai Baba is on 749 websites. Have a look on Google. As of this day in 2012, 749 websites carry the second sentence in this so-called interview.
Many are suspicious if any reporter ever interviewed Sri Sathya Sai Baba in 2010, as claimed by this alleged interview. Research indicates it is from a Spanish source, originally shared with devotees in Spain, and the English translation has gone viral.
Looking at this material, it is clear that someone has taken a personal channelling and attributed it to Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. See here for the facts; note the date, posted 22 March 2011.
My Dears, have you read I, We, HE? This is a seminal book for devotees of Sri Sathya Sai Baba written by Sri Indulal Shah, the former chair of the Sathya Sai Organisations in India and Overseas. It is a practical guide and understanding of being a devotee of Sathya Sai Baba. Well worth the read.

We have three boons, Sri Sathya Sai, Sri Sathya Sai Avatar and Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai. In other words, the physical form. God-head and the Omnipresent principle. These are three boons to devotees. Most are ignorant of this. Many will do well to read Chapter 4 on the three boons, it is salutary reading. Particularly the section on divine grace and how it removes the ills of mankind. Point is, no one can ascribe something to the omnipresent principle, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. What you have (linked on the web page above) is a personal message done sometime before 2010; it is not an interview with Sri Sathya Sai Baba in 2010.
Important point; Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is, and always has been, nirvikalpa Sai. God without a form, God without a body, God, within whom all live and move and have their being. We live in a sea of God; God is not outside us, we are inside God. God is never away from us, how can he be so?
So, an important point. The God without Form-God without body does not give interviews to reporters.
My Dears, let us come back to the one whom we know to be Sai Baba of India, the Sathya Sai Baba who lived and walked in Prashanti Nilayam, Puttaparthi, South India, whom many persons called “Bhagavan” (meaning, God-Man) Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai always taught “seek innerview, not interview”; he was always available to us on that level, and still is.
Attributing an anonymous personal message, what some people would call a channelling to the Sai Baba with form–Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba–is acting a little bit silly.
My Dears,
you have to use your God-given gifts and talents, and don’t let your fears do your thinking for you. Your God-given gifts include your brain and your intellect. Do you know, the intellect is nearest to the soul, and receives more than 80% of its illumination from your Soul?
So you will understand that we do have some interior gifts, and they can be called up to help us examine, discriminate and decide the veracity of this material. God expects no less from you than you use your gifts well in this world.
If you look to the google and yahoo searches, the highest two search terms are for porn and for 2012. There is desire bound to the senses, and fear, bound to ignorance. Both searches reflect that people, many millions of people using the Internet, are led around by both the fears of the ego and the desire of the ego to expand; and many are led by their lust.
My Dears,
Why are people afraid? Do you not remember that Baba has always said, “Why fear when I am here!”
He is still here, many people have the evidence of their senses, the evidence of their hearts, and the evidence given by their intellect. Just as Jesus rose from the dead, Jesus is still here. You would do well to read the letter of St Paul to the Colossians, where Paul speaks of Jesus as the image of the invisible God, the first born of all creation; “he is before all things, and in him, all things hold together” … just so, Sai Baba has not died. Sai Baba has simply left his temporary body. Just as clothes are placed on a coathanger, taken and worn for a time, and discarded when they become worn out, so too, Sai Baba’s body was worn out; he discarded it.
As many of you do know, Sai Baba will come back once more as Sai Baba, this time as Prema Sai Baba, somewhere in South India.
Sai Baba of India, the Puttaparthi Sai Baba, the one we call Bhagavan, Swami, Sri Sathya Sai Baba, is above you, below you, before you, behind you, within you, within your heart. He is still saying, “Why fear when I am here?”
Right there in your heart.
Baba is saying “Why fear when I am here?”
Do you remember the Sai Baba who wrote letters to his students?
Do you remember the advice he gave to students buffeted by the world and its claims?
Take time.
Do not haste, waste, worry.
Remember God.
Calmly examine the situtation and discriminate right and wrong.
So your discrimination is there in your intellect, which receives over 80% of its illumination from the Soul itself. You can remember God. You can be calm. You can turn within for HIS guidance. There is no hurry.
My Dears,
have confidence in yourself. Confidence in yourself is faith in yourself. Faith in yourself is Faith in God, for verily, you are God with amnesia. Don’t worry about the amnesia, my dears. Just keep your focus on your faith in your own self, your own judgement.
If you want an answer from the inner Sai about 2012, then ask your inner Sai. However you approach him, do that. Turn to God with love for God, you will receive love, love, love in return – heaped up, pressed down into your soul and overflowing, all through your being. HE is there, my dears, he is there and waiting for you and your love.
Do turn to him with Love; he will take your fears and give you the answer that only YOU need to hear about this 2012 phenomenon. Dive deep into the heart, where he is waiting.
