October 2022 Full Moon

huntersThe October full Moon – while a good time for care of animals and travel – is also a full moon that brings challenges in its wake. It is a time of due diligence to our own selves (this is not selfishness, we cannot be of service to others nor the Divine if we do not take care of our own selves) and a time of a particular awareness of what is seen, what is in our time, and what is beyond time. Perhaps timelessness is a significator of the 5th dimension, perhaps timelessness is also a significator of a greater awareness of the Self.

Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon July 2019

The Full Moon of Wednesday 17 July is immediately preceded by an eclipse which ends minutes before the Moon is 100% full; this conjunction we call a Super Full Moon. The eclipse maximum (in the Southern Hemisphere) is at 07:30:00 am; the full Moon is at 07:38:00 am. The Moon sets at 7:33:00 am, somewhat linking this to the experience of the recent solar eclipse in South America, when the Sun set immediately after eclipse totality. Compounding this situation is a preponderance of retrograde, sandhi and debilitated planets. As this is a time when people can be hurt by our thoughts, words and actions, it behooves us to be speaking softly and sweetly to one and all.

June 2016: The Human Journey to Peace

buddhaWe normally do not speak of new moons, for the moon is the presiding deity of the mind and malefic whilst it is within 60° of the Sun. At this time, we are advised that there are significant challenges facing all on Earth, and as we journey from what the new moon offers to the full moon, we look to what solutions are possible and how we might utilise the planets. So the human journey to peace moves from new moon to full moon, wherein we may take up the stronger lunar energies for the good of the all.

January 2016: The borders of signs

Many would wonder what a New Year will bring. Romance, career, money, travel, and for those who are married, domestic peace. We are not inclined to take the New Year Day chart, for the New Year for each and every reader here begins when the Sun returns to the point where it was when you were born. This is the annual solar return; at that point, the Year Lord is determined, and the chart for the forthcoming 12 months from natal birthday is cast. Note on Full Moon, 7 November

The full moon of 7 November will be a strong moon, and most efficient for promoting love and harmony, understanding and co-operation around the world in this time of need; a time of multiple chaotic nodes. Individuals and groups who give time to meditation and reflections and aspirations towards world peace will give a tremendous boost to world peace, as meditations and prayers are multiplied and magnified hundredfold, during the full moon period.

Note on Full Moon + Lunar Eclipse

Ketu

A full moon is when the mind is at its strongest (the Moon is the presiding deity of the Mind); the lunar energies are strongest (the Higher Cosmic Beings recommend this time of Full Moon as the best time for prayers in common, group prayers for the welfare of all the worlds) and eclipses are times of transformation - internal transformation within the human, particularly where Ketu and Rahu are concerned; this full Moon is conjunct Ketu, the Sun is conjunct Rahu. So a significant time is upon us from the perspectives of astronomy, astrology and the psyche.

Note on the Full Moon of August 10

Full Moon

This coming Full Moon on 10 August – called a ‘super moon’ on account of perigee (closest to Earth) which will occur on 10 August. As the Hierarchy – in the messages of Cosmic Sai Baba, Jalarm and Alcheringa – recommends meditation on full moon days, we offer a reflection on this coming “super moon” and the astrological significance surrounding this.
